Established in 2008, the Energy and Environment Engineering Student Association (EEESA) has maintained a strong presence in the Schulich School of Engineering student body, united by our shared interest in applying classroom engineering learnings to the energy and environment fields.

To bolster students’ academic, professional, and social wellbeing and develop tomorrow’s leaders in energy & environment.

Our Mission

EEESA is an organization that represents students enrolled in the Energy and Environment Engineering (ENEE) minor program, though our events are open to all students at the University of Calgary. Our council facilitates opportunities for students to expand their social network, connect with local and global industry players, and apply course learnings in a new context. With the help of our corporate sponsors, tomorrow’s leaders in the energy and environment field will be better prepared to handle rapidly emerging global challenges and advancements.
